image.jpgimage.jpgWhen I convert my cad file to pdf the lines are very dark until I zoom in and the lines become back normal and thin again, why is this happening?

That's a PDF viewer display setting change you need to make on your end, it has nothing to do with AutoCAD sadly.

What setting is it, how would I change it?

@hsmpycoc  Go into your PDF viewer's PREFERENCES section, PAGE DISPLAY or DISPLAY section, and explore. I use these setting for example but your experiences may be different

Hi @hsmpycoc ,

You use Power Point and insert PDF produced by AutoCAD to a slide.

I'm afraid there is no special settings for PDF resolution / quality.

Can you share one of PDF files you are trying to insert to Power Point presentation?

@hsmpycoc ,

I cannot say that your PDF is very dark on my Mac when I insert it into PowerPoint (the same zoom level as in your screenshot):

And I have a question:

Do you have Acrobat connected somehow to PowerPoint?

I'm not sure your display issue is PDF related either: but... how did you include the PDF in your PowerPoint page?

I changed the colours on the cad file so it isn't so much the darkness. When you zoom in on the powerpoint the lines become thinner (as they should be) whereas just looking at it on the page the lines are very close and look thicker than they should

Ah, you took a snapshot of the PDF: try this instead https://pdf.wondershare.com/powerpoint/insert-pdf-into-ppt.html#:~:text=Method%202%3A%20How%20to%20I...

I have done some reading up and unfortunately there's no way to insert a pdf into powerpoint on a MacBook, which will be the reason, thank you anyway!
