Cant View Or Select Text When Zoomed Out

Since updating to MacOs Catalina I havent been able to view or select Text, Dimensions... when zoomed out a little too far. It's driving me a little crazy because when copying or moving a drawing, parts often stay where they were creating errors on my work.

Attached are two screenshots; one zoomed out, the other zoomed in.

Anybody else have this issue? Ive searched high & low. (it's happening on all my Macs).

Thanks ahead for the help.

Hi Jay,

Personally I haven't seen such behaviour on my side.
What AutoCAD version do you use?
If it is one of supported on Catalina (2018, 2019 or 2020), try to set system variable DTTEXT=0 (the default value for it is 1).
If this will not help, then - another question:
What font you are using for text style(s) in your drawings? Have you tried to use one of standard fonts - Arial, Times New Roman?

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for the prompt reply, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

The AutoCAD version I'm using is 2019 LT.

I just set DTTEXT to '0'. Hopefully that will fix it.

As for the font I'm using, it's Arial Narrow. Do you think that having it 'Narrow' could have an impact?

Again, thanks for the help.

I don't think so.
If DTTEXT=0 helped you, leave it and use AutoCAD.

Hello again Maxim,

I just noticed that the problem isn't happening in all of drawings. I think my MASTER that I use for new files may be corrupt.

I believe the ball is in my court at the moment.

Thanks for your time.
