Dear Tech Support,

I was able to install autocad 2013 software on newest Mac os 10.10.4, Yosemite by downlaoding a newer software from the link below.

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-2013-...

However, I was not able to launch the autocad 2013 after my installation.

Please see the error message from attached image.

I did find a smiliar problem from this forum, but the solution is only for windows users.

Would you please advice me how to solve my problem?

Thanks,

John

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi John,

What type of AutoCAD license do you have?
Os it Network or Standalone version?

Maxim

Hi John,

Something is preventing AutoCAD 2013 from successfully pulling the network license. I sent you an email in the case that was opened for this issue. Can you reply to that email with the information I requested?

Hi Jeremy,
I still could solve the problem, but I really appreciate your help.
I was wondering if I could download a newer Mac version of autocad and install it on my Mac or can I change one of my network license to individual license?

Let me know what do you think.

Hi Jeremy,
I meant to say that I still couldn't solve the problem.

Hi John,

I think switching the license to standalone is going to be the quickest way to get this working for you. I've opened a case to make that happen. Once the license has been converted to standalone, reinstall AutoCAD on your Mac. Be sure to select Standalone for the License Type during the install.
