Can't figure out what units my drawing is in

Hello! I am new to the forums, so thank you for your help! I am working on a plan in metric units. For this drawing I have xrefed files from the client architect and I am not sure what units they used. I think they might have used meters. I will get two different units of measurments when drawing and measuring. I am not sure what has gone wrong while I have been trying to solve the problem by using the top menu: format-units-millimeters and decimal AND by changing it in preferences AND by changing it in the command line by typing -dwgunits. I need to tmake sure that I know what units I am measuring and drawing in! Help! Can you please give me a step by step answer to how to carefully ensure that my units are mm. Thank you!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

You forgot to attach external references files you have a problem with. Without these files I cannot check their units.
Open your master file (DSGN.dwg as I think), save it, than use menu File -> Package drawing to make archive with external references, than attach this archive here.
