Block question

Hello-

I am confused about this:  I insert a block into a drawing.  I want to keep that block in the drawing, but make a new block, using it's parts.  I go to block editor, Save New, edit the block, close Block Editor, Insert the New block and all blocks change to match that new one, even though I saved them with different names.  I tried again by exploding the block first, still same results.  Does Save New mean something different in the Block Editor?

Thanks!

HI,

Save new means that everything you do inside block editor after selecting "Save new" and giving new name to the block will apply to the new block.
You can check in Block Editor Visor the name of the block you are editing:

If you want, you can attach your drawing with blocks here with instructions what do you want to get - I'll look at it.
