Batch plot wont print the letter X... and more

The past few times I've batch plotted a particular project, the letter "X" does not print, nor does the "&" or ":" symbols... Among others. This seems to be a problem only with this one file, however, if my coworker opens the same file up on her PC and batch plots, there are no problems. I hadn't opened up the file in a few weeks, and when I went in to make some updates, I was able to plot with no issues. I opened the file again toady and, again, no X's.

I've attached a screenshot sample. The text should read:

Kitchens (eXcept suite)

Brand: Fisher & Paykel

Model: RS32A72J1
Finish: Panel Ready
SiZe: 31-1/8"W X 23-11/16"D X 71-7/8"H

As a note, this hasn't happened in any of my other files.

I've been working with cad for over 5 years. I had CAD for Mac 2016 until about 6 months ago when I upgraded to 2018. Never used to have any problems but now there seems to be some weird bugs.

Hi Rostina,

Have you updated AutoCAD with latest updates?
What font are you using in this drawing for text objects which shows the problem?
Do you use the same font file for text objects in other drawings that do not give an error when printing?
Have you tried to validate that font in Font Book app?
