autocad lt for mac download problems

Hello, I have purchased the Autocad LT for mac, after clicking on the download from browser button nothing happens. No messages, nothing. Anyone idea?

 

Also is it possible to download both on a PC and a Mac (only using one machine at any one time)?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Try the links for AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017 from here. For the Windows version  I suggest getting the download from the Autodesk Virtual Agent.  Both platforms can be installed on a Mac (one in Bootcamp or Parallels with a valid Windows OS license).

Thank's John, I decided to try and download it through a  "free trial" anyway, something worked as it is now up and working. I also have a PC that I use for work only - can I download

LT on that as well or is that another payment?

Hi,

If you purchased AutoCAD subscription, you can install it on another one (PC or Mac) machine.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

I'm glad to hear that it worked properly for you. And yes, you can install the Windows version without additional cost. obviously you will need to have a valid license of Windows to install in your Bootcamp or Parallels partition in order for it to install and run properly.

Good evening,

 

I installed autocad 2017 on Mac through Parallels Desktop. But I can not erase the lines, is there a different command?

Hi @Anonymous,

Which command you are trying to use to erase lines? Is it ERASE command? Or you are trying to use Delete key on the keyboard?

Please describe in more details your workflow when you are trying to erase lines.
