Autocad LT for Mac 2021 - Veiwport display controls not present

In trying to come to terms with the Layouts and viewports I saw in the knowledge base that there is supposed to be a "viewport display controls" in the top left hand corner of the viewport. I tried clicking in that area to see if perhaps it was a text colour issue but no success. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers John

Hi John,

Viewport control is not available in AutoCAD LT, this feature is only available in full AutoCAD.

Thank you Maxim_K. Should I report this error in the Knowledge base? As you can see from the following they definitely indicate that the Autocad LT for Mac has this functionality. Is there another way to achieve what those controls do? Please understand that I am very new to this software but I know I will need to get fully up to speed on the Layout and Viewport functionality on the LT running on a Mac. Cheers John

Sorry, I was incorrect about Viewport Control in AutoCAD LT for Mac. In fact it is available in 2021 version, but it is turned off by default.
To enable Viewport Control you need to switch VPCONTROL to ON.
At the command line type:

Command: VPCONTROL
Enter new value for VPCONTROL <OFF>: ON. <---Hit Return
