AutoCAD LT 2015 won't open on OSX Yosemite

Hello,

I have recently had trouble with my AutoCAD LT 2015 for mac not opening. I needed to use the license transfer tool to use it on my laptop and now it will not open on my desktop. It seems like it starts to open and then crashes without any sort of notification. Can someone help me with this or please provide a customer support phone number??

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. Have you tried checking to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date? Also, have you tried installing the most recent update for AutoCAD LT 2015 for Mac, Update 2?

Hi,
I think the case is not in drivers.
Was the license transfer successful?
Why you decided to transfer the license? According to EULA you can install and use AutoCAD on two machines.

Hi,

It seems that the drivers are up to date. I decided to do the license transfer because the license product key wasn't working on the new download.

Are you able to launch AutoCAD on laptop where you transfered licence?
If you transfered license from desktop and you are not able to launch AutoCAD o this desktop - it should be so, because you moved licence from this machine.
You need to activate AutoCAD on your desktop again by transfering licence back to it, or by resetting licence as described here:

than perform clean AutoCAD install as described here:
