I have the student version of AutoCAD 2018 and I have the MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) with MacOS High Sierra.
AutoCAD is pausing and freezing while using it, even with simple commands like move, scale, rotate (with every single one) it doesn't matter if it's a new document or an old one, it pauses and the colored circle appears for a few seconds, sometimes it freezes AutoCAD and I have to force quit the app, sometimes it freezes my computes and I have to shut it down. This thing is been happening for the last week and it only happens when I open AutoCAD.
I have tried a lot of thing to resolve this problem:
- I update AutoCAD to the last version
- I reset AutoCAD
- I cleared the system cache
- I reset the host name on the system
- I tried to turned off the command “linesmoothing” but when I did that the selection box disappeared so I had to turned on again.
- I uninstalled AutoCAD and installed again, I even tried with AutoCAD 2019 and the same thing keeps happening.
If anyone know something about it, please let me know. I have tried every single thing in the forums of Autodesk.
