If you want to use physical device in AutoCAD for Mac, then you need to add Printer in macOS System Preferences - Printers & Scanners pane:

Now, when you launch AutoCAD and open Print window, newly added printer will appear in the Printer drop-down list:

You can add printer in autocad for mac this way, Select 'Add a printer' near the top left of the Devices and Printers window. After you select the option to 'Add a printer', a smaller window will appear. A new smaller window will appear, select the radial option 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname' and click 'Next'.
