AutoCAD for Mac first run error

I have AutoCAD for Mac 2015 installed in a lab image running Mac OS X 10.11.5. On first launch it prompts for the user to watch tutorials. If you skip the tutorial and go to the Create tab none of the templates to start a new project appear unless you reset the software from the menu or holding Shift when relaunching the app. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Best,

Arthur

Hi,

Does this happens each time you quit AutoCAD and launch it without resetting?

Hi @mcs,

What happens if you start AutoCAD 2015 for Mac with a script (See AKN Article)? Does it create a new drawing based upon your template or does it hang?

It doesn't sound like the image completely installed. Perhaps trying a new install and also make sure that you have applied the appropriate service packs (1,2,3) [found here]
