AutoCAD and Apple MacOS Sierra (10.12) what you need to know

Many Autodesk customers work on Apple Macs and have no doubt become aware that MacOS 10.12 Sierra is now available.

AutoCAD for Mac 2016, 2015, and 2014 and AutoCAD LT for Mac 2016, 2015 and 2014 versions are compatible with Mac OSX  v10.11 (El Capitan). While these versions may launch on Sierra, they have not been designed to run on this operating system. AutoCAD may not operate properly on Sierra. Upgrading the OS may interrupt or damage your project data and workflow.

 

It is strongly advised that you check operating system compatibility with your version of AutoCAD for Mac before upgrading your Mac to MacOS 10.12 Sierra.
