Autocad 2025 for Mac

I just bought Autocad 2025 - Mac version. I am having issues importing DXF, OBJ files into Autocad.

Im just asking as a general question. How do I import a DXF or OBJ

You can follow >>>>THESE STEPS<<<<< to import DXF file in AutoCD for Mac or use DXFIN command.

AutoCAD for Mac doesn't support importing of OBJ files. You need to use third-party applications to convert OBJ to DWG of DXF.

You can import DXF files into AutoCAD for Mac by selecting the file option in the ribbon menu, choosing "Import," and then selecting the DXF file location to open it.

AutoCAD cannot read an .obj file directly. Please use Autodesk 3DS Max to create the .dwg file from the .obj file

Thx. I dont have Max. I was told Fusion can convert the Step to DXF?

If your goal is: export a 3D model from fusion to open it as 3D model in Autocad?

Export your model as SAT file.

SAT file can be open in Autocad as a 3D model.
