Hello,
I do only 2D drawings (I'm an interior designer) and when there is x-ref in my drawings (about 2Mo) the loading time for a presentation sheet varies from 20 to 40 seconds at first opening. Then if I let the drawing open and come back to the presentation later, the time is only 1 second.
I already reduced the RESVUE (sorry this is in french) to 50. It is better but still long at first opening.
I don't know if this issue comes from the lack of use of the RAM or someting else....
If so, as I saw my mac was only using 4 Go when opening a presentation, is there a way to tell Autocad to use more of the available Ram in the computer ?
For example in Photoshop sofware you can decide the purcentage you want Photoshop to use when it is running.
Is there something similar with Autocad ?
My Mac configuration is :
Imac 27 inches - Late 2013
3,4 GHz Intel Core i5
16 Go 1600 MHz DDR3
Thanks a lot in advance for your help,
Have a nice day
Aude
