Autocad 2016 lag when using copy and line commands

I'm using Autocad 2016, it lags every time when I use line and copy commands. Especially copy command gets me crazy sometimes I wait 10-15 minutes. Are there any solutions for this?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Gizem,

What macOS do you have on your Mac?
Have you installed all Updates for AutoCAD?
Do you have this problem in all drawings or just in one?
Does the issue start to show recently or you had it all the time?

I Have macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and auto cad says its up to date.

I have been using auto cad for 3 or 4 weeks, I'm so new to the program and it showed up recently it was working so fast and issueless but now its really hard to work with auto cad.

Do you have this problem in all of your drawings?
If you create new drawing, does it behaves the same way?

If you don't have troubles with new drawing, there are a few things you need to check:

Do you have parametric constraints in the drawing?
What Visual Style you are using in problem drawing(s)?

Can you attach here one of your problem drawings, where you experienced lags with copy and line commands? I'll look at it.

You can check current Visual Style here:

HI @gizem.ulukardesler,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Did @maxim_k's suggestions get you running faster?  You might consider a Reset to see if that speeds things up.

If this behavior only occurs in unique drawings, are you able to add one to a post so I can examine it?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
