AutoCAD 2014 - How to dock floating panes?

Anonymous
No aplicable

Hi to all readers!
New to the forum here, so please bear with me.
Searched for AutoCAD 2014 but could not find relevant information.

I'm on a mac(book) running Yosemite and AutoCAD 2014.
I really only need AutoCAD once in a while to be able to open drawings, from which I take a snippet to be used in either documentation or electrical house wiring diagrams.

Question:
How can I adjust settings so that all independent panes are grouped into a single window?

Thanks for helping out!

Erwin

(just found that for version 2017 this is not possible by design..
So not sure if it is possible at all.)

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Erwin,

2014 version allows to dock floating palettes to the sides of screen: ToolSets, Layers, Properties, Xref, Materials palettes to the left or to the right side of the screen, Command window and Status Bar - to the bottom of the screen:

To dock palette - drag it to the side of the screen until you see blue line along screen side, then release mouse.
