Is the Mac version of Auto CAD compatible to the PC version?

Yes, files swap seemlessly between the two OS platforms.

What kind of Mac are you using? What is the OS?

I use both Windows and Mac versions of product and like them both. They are different. They have different user interfaces and some features are not a perfect match.

Here is a link so that you can compare products between platforms. You will find regardless of platform, that the files can be moved between them without any major issues.
