auto cad 2017 LT for mac batch publish line weight issue

When I batch publish a set of drawings with 2017 LT for mac, the resulting file when printed has very light line weights. If I just print one pdf from the drawing layout, the final print is fine.

When the page setup manager setting for "print object line weight" is checked, I can print directly from the layout, or "save" a single pdf and then print - and the printed line weight is fine. When a batch publish of multiple drawings to pdf is tried with this setting, the drawings have a very dark, ilegible line weight. Turning off the "print object line weight" box, the resulting pdf batch publish of multiple drawings looks fine on the screen , but then prints as a very light version, almost too light to read.

Has anyone encountered this or know how to fix it? I did not have these problems with an earlier 2013 Autocad Lt for Mac version.

Hi Mark,

Do you use some specific Plot Style table in the Page Setup?
Do you batch publish directly to the printing device or to PDF?
Can you attach sample drawing(s) with the issue described here?

Hi Maxim,

I use the monochrome.ctb in the Plot Style Table in the Page Setup. I batch publish to the PDF.

An example printed drawing is attached.

Mark,

I asked about drawing itself, not about PDF, especially since the attached file is not the initial result of publishing to PDF, but is only rasterized copy.
Is it possible to attach DWG file and two sample PDF outputs - one from Print dialog and other from Batch Publish.

Maxim,

Attached is a 2017 ACADLT for Mac drawing file example. Also attached are two pdfs - one taken from a direct pdf print and another from a batch publish pdf print. Note that they both have line weights that are too "light". It is only when I do a direct print to the printer and change the page setup manager option to check the "print objects line weight" under print options that I can get a print with the proper line weights. If I use this same setting and print a pdf I get a drawing that is illegible with very dark line weights.

Attached is an ACAD file, a pdf print, and a pdf "batch publish" print.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

I created new page setup in your drawing - Setup1 - with these settings:

2017-05-05_21-24-07.png

and got acceptable output with Batch publish (see attached PDF).
