The earlier suggestion was to give a DWFattach command, but in AutoCad 2015 the command is not in the system. Only DWFframe and DWFosnap.
Please advise further.

Open your External Reference manager (XR) and at the top left corner, drop down the menu and select Attach DWF.
Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
I'm not sure what is wrong but when the file selection window pops up, it doesn't have .dwf option and resisting to upload my .dwf

Thanks for the screenshot. It appears that you are in AutoCAD for Mac which does not have this feature.
If you want to attach your file I can print it to a PDF for you if you like.
