Any recent training guidebooks for using AutoCad LT 2019?

I will be a beginning user of AutoCad LT 2019 on a Mac.  Is there a users' guide newer than 2011 for a Mac (Mastering AutoCad for Mac)?  Mastering AutoCAD 2018 and AutoCAD LT 2018 1st Edition appears to only be written for Windows; is that correct?  Any suggestions on what will be the best training book for a new LT user on a Mac will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Todd,

AutoCAD LT 2019 for Mac has not been released yet, so looks like you write about AutoCAD 2018 LT for Mac.
Unfortunately no special books on AutoCAD for Mac were released for a long time.
I can only suggest you to look at this book:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/id1226081646?mt=11

There are also some video tutorials, for example here:

Thanks maxim-k for your reply.  I am curious why Autocad for Mac is not well supported.  Do you believe that the AutoCad for Interior Designers will provide the guidance necessary to produce floor plans, elevations, and technical construction drawings?   Thanks

AutoCAD is a general use CAD program no designed for any industry: add to the reality that MAC users are much fewer in numbers, and the 3rd party market is just not interested in writing all new add-ons in return for small sales numbers.

Then there is the reality that Atuodesk seems disinterested in porting the ARCHITECTURE ToolSet available in AutoCAD for Windows to the MAC and you can see why no one else wants to go there. But you pay the same amount of money for the MAC version. Feels good doesn't it.

Autodesk offers two dedicated software packages for your industry, both run in Windows: AutoCAD for Windows with the ARCHITECTURE Toolset and REVIT.

Toolsets explained: http://blogs.autodesk.com/autocad/whats-new-autocad-2019-installing-specialized-toolsets/

REVIT overview https://www.autodesk.com/products/revit/overview

How to run Windows software on a MAC should you decide to side-move to AutoCAD for WIndows with Toolsets (or move to REVIT) https://www.howtogeek.com/187359/5-ways-to-run-windows-software-on-a-mac/
