Accessing old versions of Autocad, for Catalina

Hiya!

I have a Mac that operates on Catalina (it cannot be updated to a newer OS). I am therefore unable to dowload AutoCAD desktop. I am however able to run Autocad Mobile on my iPad Pro, and able to access Autocad web. My issue is adding blocks. I am unable to set up a library as i can't download the desktop version. Would it be possible to locate and download an older version of autocad so that i can supliment my use of it on web and mobile? Thanks.

Hi @juliarobertsonsullivan ,

If you have macOS Catalina on your Mac, you can install AutoCAD 2021, 2022, 2023 on it.

You can download any of these versions from your Autodesk account.

On the other hand - you can create blocks in AutoCAD mobile app itself. The problem is that you cannot use block libraries in AutoCAD mobile app, you can insert blocks only from current drawing. Or I'm missing something?

All of us can from our Autodesk Accounts page, what have you tried so far?

Hi @maxim_k

Thanks so much.

I’m just trying to insert new blocks on the iPad but assume I’ll be able to add them to the drawing (using desktop or web) and then edit and place them in the mobile app.

Looks like you can only create blocks or place ready blocks in the mobile app, but not edit them in it.
