I bought a 3dconnexion space navigator mouse and it doesn't want to work with autoCAD 2016 for my mac. I'm running El Capitan version 10.11.2 and the newest version of AutoCAD 2016 as of February 1, 2016.
When I downloaded the 3dconnexion software I went through the set-up and everything worked fine. But when I get into AutoCAD nothing worked. So I googled and somewhere it said delete the 3dconnexion drivers and just use what's built into the AutoCAD. I did that and I can only zoom in and out with the mouse, but nothing else. I can't pan, rotate, tilt. I'm in 3d modeling mode and not 2d. I've turned on free orbit as well. Once free orbit is on the space navigator will move my cursor around like a normal mouse left right up and down, and still zooms.
How can I fix this? I have a student version of 2016 so I'm not sure if I'm able to downgrade back to 2015 which might fix the problem. I can't seem to find any drivers for this mouse on Autodesk's website anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated!
