2017.1 - layer list vs layer palette

Now that the layer list is included in the layer palette in 2017.1, is there a way to keep the layer list above the properties palette while also having the floating layer palette open? I could do this with 2017.0.1. I often work this way -- layer list for a quick change to a single item and the layer palette open on a second monitor for freezing a group of layers temporarily, making a "global" layer update, etc.

I realize there is a layer pull-down menu in the properties, but as discussed previously ( https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-forum/properties-palette-autocad-lt-for-mac-2017-1/m-...), Layer is beneath Color, which is unintuitive,  and plus there is not the ability to adjust color, freeze/thaw, or adjust visibility in this properties pull down.

If this is not possible, can it be made to be in a future update?

Any response or feedback? Somehow a case was assigned with Autodesk to my inquiry, but I'd love to hear from anyone that may have input.

No, there is no way in 2017.1 release.
You can only go back to 2017 version by reinstalling AutoCAD completely.

Thanks for response Maxim. It seems strange that this functionality would be eliminated. I will submit feedback to Autodesk. Returning to an old version of the program seems extreme, but I understand your point that it's what is necessary at this time if I'm desperate to reinstate this functionality.

Thanks

I went ahead and uninstalled and returned to 2017.0.1 (original version with hotfix), and I hope they return this functionality in the next release. I've attached a screen shot of the layer palette window and the layer list together...partially for my own future reference but also to clarify my point.

I must say, I'm impressed that the uninstall/reinstall maintained all my settings, shortcut edits, etc. I did check to keep those when uninstalling, but that rarely works out as intended. But this time it did! (Another example of why I'm happy I finally moved from a PC to Mac.)

Thanks Maxim

I also think Layers list should be always at hand, because it is used most often while working in AutoCAD. In Windows version I always add it to QAT.
