You should be able to assign a screen cable to either end of a parametric built cable. Currently it only allows a connection to the right hand side

However the issue is basically you can connect to the right hand side of a parametric screen but not the left meaning that it is not easy to connect a screen from one pair of twisted screened coress to another pair of screened cores. Forming a connection as shown in the example image below to the left hand side is impossible! You would typically show this when you have multiple twisted pairs within an overall screened cable.
