Oh that's a nice juicy error.

SIGCODE ERROR.JPG

I think keeping source is being recommended! lol

Hello Kelly,

To avoid the having same numbering / Naming of the source arrows, we place this message. However if the circuit is continuous and daisy chained, this message is not valid and original idea make lot more sense for continuation. In above option we give option to keep as well. So is it is more of a caution messaging and not error.

Hello Mathalekar,

Keeping the source arrow does not produce a new source arrow with a new, incremented SIGCODE.  The original idea supposes that one day the options on that caution message would be to Create New Source Arrows or Erase.  I think your response demonstrates your understanding of the issue.  I posted that error/caution message to highlight the issue that ACADE is running into and show a dialog box that might change to accomodate the change.

This is a pretty basic issue.  Does the AutoCAD Electrical team understand how copying a circuit with source/destination arrows is cumbersome?
