Here is some of the IEC structures commonly used
now compare them to the ones available to ACADE notice anything missing how about sorting out the structure so we can use the product in an IEC compliant environment
You may ignore it because in the US you use a different standard but basically you are causing yourself not to be usable in 50%+ of the world because it cant comply
IEC 81346-1:
— “==” (equal equal) when relating to the function assignment aspect;
— “=” (equal) when relating to the function designation aspect;
— “–” (minus) when relating to the product aspect;
— “++” (plus plus) when relating to the installation aspect;
— “+” (plus) when relating to the location aspect;
— “%” (percent) when relating to the type aspect
— “&” (ampersand) when relating to the document type aspect
