Title block broken on a single drawing

Hi all,

One drawing in my project, named "E-41 RC Connectors", has a glitchy titleblock. The picture below on the left shows E-40, whose titleblock works fine, and then on the right is E-41. You can see that the logo, company information, and confidentiality statement are all empty, but the lines are still there. All of the attributes are present on both titleblocks. When I try to update the titleblock on the broken sheet, it just stops responding, only letting me zoom in or out, and I can't select anything and have to force quit the application. I created this drawing a while ago and I only noticed this last Friday. I believe there is an issue with the metadata surrounding the drawing, because when I pull an older version from Vault (the thumbnail literally has info in the titleblock), the titleblock is STILL broken. Additionally, when I try to copy the titleblock from a different sheet where it works, and paste it into this drawing, the titleblock is still broken even though it works fine on the other sheet. I have checked the .wdp file, and the drawing is listed in there, and I never removed the drawing from the project or anthing.

Let me know if you have any ideas/solutions or experience with this issue. Thanks!

You do of course purge all the blocks in the drawing before pasting the new title block into the drawing?

If the block name is the same, AutoCAD will use the existing block in the drawing, even when pasting.

Trond,

I of course didn't. That fixed it, thank you very much!
