Title block attributes won't update after I edit the project description and hit 'Title Block Update'.

So I'm having a small issue here getting title block attributes to update via 'Descriptions' when I right click the project and then select 'Title Block Update'... To begin with: I have set up my company's title block .dwt file, added attributes which have default values, etc... In the .dwt file itself I've created the title block as a block and inside of that block are the attributes that I've created (DRAWINGNUMBER, JOBNUMBER, etc). After creating the attributes I went into 'Title Block Setup' and mapped the attributes to the Project Values that I created within the 'default_wdtitle.wdl' file. I then save the .dwt and also save the title block as a .dwg:

After this I create a new drawing in my project that uses the .dwt file, I right click the project and select 'Descriptions' and then edit 'Drawing Number:' which I've linked to the DRAWINGNUMBER attribute inside the .dwt...

I then hit 'OK' followed by 'Title Block Update' and check the field that I have selected to update:

I hit 'OK Project-wide' followed by 'Do-All' and click 'OK' on the Select Drawings to Process dialog window...

This is when I would expect the drawing attribute to update with the text I have input into the Descriptions dialog window but the attribute does not reflect the new value, it still shows the original DRAWINGNUMBER attribute:

For what it's worth the attributes inside of the .dwt file do have default values but I have removed this and nothing changes... What am I doing wrong here because I must be missing something simple?

I haven't had much luck using WD_TB attrib.  I typically use Default.WDT (default for any project) which creates a file you can copy from one project to the next.

I don't use a template file, I use a dwg file for my title block.

Hope this helps.

I fixed it! So what I did was go into the default.wdt file and made sure the 'BLOCK' lines matched the actual block name that is in my .dwt template file. My error was that when I created the block inside my .dwt file I originally had no underscore and my .wdt file had the underscore so they weren't linking up. I created a new drawing from this .wdt file and everything updates as intended. Hope this helps anyone else having this error in the future.
