Terminals With 2 Wire Connections

I am curious how everyone handles these . Do you draw two wires to the same block? We would typically draw in a way that power is coming of a bus rail two devices in series may share the same terminal for power but may not be on the same page so i would have to through an source arrow in there to work which may be confusing. Just looking to see what others do and what would is best practice.

Could you upload a sketch or screen shot of what you do? I think I understand but want to be sure. Are you talking about a multi-level terminal or single-level? By two connections, I guess you mean one on each end of the actual terminal, right?

It depends on the industry standard. Is this for aerospace, automotive, building, commercial or general, please confirm?

SO this is essentially what I am trying to achieve but image the switch on another page. Is there another more elloquent way of doing this? Would be much easier if there were child terminal blocks.

There are two ways of doing this:

option 1 - using source and destination arrow. This is the easiest way of doing. Surfing (hyperlink) works well on electronically singed / approved pdf drawings. This feature will be handy for checker and installers. Source and Destination chart can also be (optionally) produced if required.

 

option 2. - using termination association as  rhesusminus mentioned. This is advanced method. For clarity a termination association chart needs to be produced for checkers and installers though. 

 

It all depends on user and company drawing standards and procedures.

There are so many methods to handle this! Since you need the wire and wire number to go to a different sheet or ladder, your method is what I would use. I've never enjoyed wrestling with perfect terminal counts showing up in Terminal Strip Editor, once I finish the schematics and being the panel layout. I'm usually changing some wires to jumpers and sometimes omitting the terminal symbol to make the count turn out the way I require it to be. Therefore the depiction in the schematics doesn't always turn out exactly the way I want it.

 

I like the idea of child terminal blocks!

Child TB is good idea. But,  are you planing to create child TB under group / symbol name T0 or T1? If the TBs (Parent and child) are created under these groups, not sure you will be able to associate / link tags via edit component > Drawing or Project or Parent / Sibling.
