I'm running Autocad Electrical 2019.
I'm working on building a secondary catalog containing custom products that are often used in company drawings, including a few custom terminal blocks. I've entered the terminal data into the catalog entry as shown below, and it gets correctly entered into the _TERMPROPS_AB table in the custom catalog database.
The issue comes when I assign the catalog data to the terminal in the Terminal Strip Editor. The Editor does not assign the terminal properties based on the data in the _TERMPROPS_AB table (1). If I manually enter the data into the database's generic _TERMPROPS table, the editor updates the terminals as it should (2).
(1) Terminal still unaltered after assigning catalog number:
(2) Correct Assignment (after data was copied into _TERMPROPS):
Is there a way to tell the Terminal Strip Editor to check the manufacturer-specific table? If not, what is the correct way to link this workflow within Autocad? It's not too much work to copy and paste the entries into the other table, but there must be a better way to do it. Thanks in advance!
