Symbols for Fiber Optic Network diagramming

I'm wanting to create documentation for a control fiber optic network. I'm needing symbols for common fiber optic components, cables, connectors, backbone ports, etc. Can anyone help me out? Some examples of a diagram would also help.

Do you know if there's some symbol standard fir this kind of schematics? I surely don't know.
If you can be helpful in sending us in the direction of such symbols, maybe we can help.

A quick google search for 'Schematic symbols for Optical Fibre Ports' brought up these along with a host of links....

I'm not sure which standard they are from but it's a start.

I was wondering if anyone ever responded to your question? I am involved with OSP revising fiber optic cabling from manhole to manhole, butterfly drawings, fiber cables .building entrance....etc.. Most of the information I have found is involved with manafacturing stuff.

Thx

No, I've not gotten any response from the group on any details for
fiber optic schematic symbols.

message 5 of 6 from Mr. Icemanau... ???

You'll most likely have to create these symbols yourself using the Symbol Editor.
Could be something as simple as boxes with lines connecting them, or is more detail required in the symbology?

Do you have any examples of previous drawings your company has done that you can sanitize and upload here?

In fiber optics its referred to as a bowtie. It's a 3 way splice to run in different directions
