Symbol image is blank in icon menu

So i'm having a problem with a image of a custom symbol. When I save the image in the symbol builder the Image looks fine. However when I insert the symbol in the icon menu with the icon menu wizard the image turns blank. Except when i select the symbol and the symbol is highlighted in blue, then I can se the lines. Almost as if the lines was in white.

However when i change the view to List only it displays the image as it should be.

I have tested different colors on the dwg file and I have compared it to other files that works but nothing works. I have also tried the image file in gimp and paint and the lines are indeed black.

I tried restarting the program, purging and another project file. I'm running out of ideas.
