Split Tags

Hi,

I have set up a standard P&ID and linked the tags to Electrical Drawings. One of our contracts requires up to update the tags. Part 2 of the tag starts with a letter rather than a number therefore it doesn't automatically split when the tags are updated. Where as when Part 2 of the tag starts with a number it automatically splits. Can someone please advise how this can be set-up to automatically split if Part 2 begins with a number or a letter.

You can try to add the TAG1_PARTX/TAG2_PARTX attribute, and give that attribute a character that you want to use as the delimiter. If it contains "_" (underscore) and you type "ABC_123" for the tag in the dialog, "ABC" will be put into PART1 and "123" into PART2.

I understand where to add this attribute when using the symbol builder. However I have already used these symbols in drawings. How do I add the attribute to existing symbols on drawings. Does Bedit give you this option?
