Split PLC Module Multiple BOM

ACAD-E is behaving oddly.

If I follow these steps:

1-  Add PLC IO Module on first half of page (becomes a parent).

2- Break in the middle and continue on the second half of page (becomes a child of 1).

3- Add Module MFG and CAT

4- Generate Tallied purchase list

I'll get 1 PLC module in the list, which is correct.

Now if I:

1- Edit module, Catalog Lookup, Multiple BOM, add a submodule

2- Generate Tallied purchase list

I'll get 1x PLC module and 2x submodules, which is wrong.

Now if I:

1- Delete second half of PLC IO (child)

2- Generate Tallied purchase list

I'll get 1x PLC module and 1x submodule (correct).

This leads me to believe somehow it calculates 2x the multiple BOM items.

But then I

1- CTRL+Z to get my child back on the second half of page

2- Add another Multiple BOM to the parent (subsubmodule)

3- Generate Tallied purchase list

Then I get 1x PLC Module, 2x submodule and 1x subsubmodule

Now it really does seem there's a component attached to the child! but there's no way to see a component attached to the child, is there?

Can you post a copy of the drawing in question? Something does not seem right....

Attached the drawing. The only way I've found how to solve this is to delete and create again, which is a pain...

Can someone figure out where that CAT is attached to the child component?

I see somehow the part number is attaching to the child component through the XDATA, but I'm not understanding why that is happening. Have the reference blocks to create the parametric PLCs been modified in anyway to your knowledge?

oh wow, thanks, I didn't notice that XDATA was there. It hasn't been changed in any way. But if I delete that XDATA it goes away which is exactly what I needed to check

Awesome.  I'm still curious how this got attached to the child block though - I can't recreate it, at least in AcadE 2021, which version are you running?

Yeah, I am not sure how that would happen either.
