Source and destination

Hello,

I have many sources and destinations. I want to have very clear indications of the sources and destinations. This means I want to know not just the locations of the sources or destinations, but which components the inputs or output are connected to. In AutoCAD, I do this manually, but If I change the component name, then I need to change source or destination descriptions as well.

In autocad my destination and source look like that

I made a video showing how easy it can be to do this with EPLAN. Is it possible to accomplish the same tasks with AutoCAD?

Of course.

Learn to program Lisp (a modern programming language from the 1950's)

Then learn the "API" of AutoCAD Electrical so that you can create a program that use the project database to locate what the interruption points are connected to, so that you can put that information in the description attribute of the signal symbols.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
