Setup ACAD E to use library in sharepoint

Please advise on how to set up Autocad E 2021 to use library files in SharePoint

As far as I know, you can't share files that are in the cloud. They have to be on a network drive for ACADE to be able to use them.

It may be possible to map the cloud as a network drive and get it to work that way, but be advised that your software will likely run very slowly if it has to keep looking to the cloud to read/write project info.

I would avoid setting up ACADE so that its libraries are in the cloud, if it's possible to do.

Basically, the solution I'm working now on is to sync SharePoint files to OneDrive folder on the computer's drive, and use those synced files. The problem I'm facing now is the path in wdp file should have a universal path, and the path I have now contains my username. If somebody else in our team is using the project, they would have to change it to contain their name.

I wonder if they is a work around, and have a solution to a similar setup.

The solution is to sync the files in SharePoint by OneDrive. Then it won't be any different than working with your local disk or from a server.
