Script - insert wire numbers

I am currently in the middle of creating a script that will save me many clicks when performing drawing-wide tasks. However, inserting wire numbers is causing me issues, particularly when it comes to the end of the script and I am attempting to create a new drawing (for the script to repeat through). My script is very small right now and I have put it below. Is there something that I am missing?

I'm not familiar with API (I'm relatively new to script writing), but what I am looking to do is automate creation of several pages that will be from the same template and formatted the same, but differ only because of page number difference. I will have to go back on each page to update company specific things that I cannot automate, but I am looking to save some time by creating the pages with basic formatting by using a script. These pages could range from 5 to 40 in total.

My initial thought was to write a script to create a new drawing, then re-number the ladder, retag and insert wire numbers, and then repeat the script. I'm okay with being prompted with dialog boxes (as I'm not looking to click once and walk away) but, I'm wanting to be prompted with those dialog boxes automatically as each page is created.

Any thoughts that may get me going in the right direction?
