Rung Description Setting

I'm new to AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical 2023. I just had some formal training in AC electrical as my employer (extremely small/ startup) wants to get ready to start doing our PLC panel drawings in house. Up until now we have outsourced everything Controls Department related. In the training their AutoCAD was setup to add the component description at the end of the rung, which is the standard that I am use to. I got a set of drawings the other day from the vendor we have been using for controls work and they had some rungs where the description was over/ under the component instead of at the end of the rung (see pic). I asked them to move the description and they pushed back. Yes they are getting less and less professional everyday. I opened my AutoCAD electrical and found that mine isn't setup to put the description at the end of the rung either. For the life of me, I cannot find where this setting is. Could anyone point me in the right direction to find this setting, please? Thank you in advance.

What you're seeing in that screenshot is that the first terminal in the PLC module has its own description, but the rest don't. Edit the PLC module and look between the different terminals - you'll see that only the first one has content there. If you want it to match the device description, you can click on it to pick up the same text. It isn't a permanent connection though, so each will have to be updated manually if there are future changes.

Thank you.  What about rungs that aren't a PLC?

Your screenshot demonstrates a problem with that. You wouldn't want the fuse descriptions on the right side of the rung. You can have several components per rung, so they can't all get that right-hand treatment!

The pre-made symbols you get with ACADE tends to have the descriptions on the right for motors, relays/contactors, solenoids, etc. but not most other devices.

You can make your own symbols, of course, and locate the descriptions wherever you want, or use Move Attribute to reposition them. You can also make a dummy symbol that is all descriptions and insert that on the right side of your rungs! I have one of those for when I need it.
