Report - Wiring

I want to produce a report that details the wire connection at each end whether it be on a TB or a component.

The "termplan" report does not show wires unless they connect to a terminal.

The "ComponentWireList" do not show terminals.

What am I missing?

Maybe you can try this:

1. Start a from/to report, and select all locations, but include the "reverse sequences":

That is a good start.  I want the comp2 as well.  I will play with it and see if I can make it work.

When you use "reverse sequence" you should get both comp1 and comp2 in comp1...

So this looks good.  But it highlights an issue I have never had to solve before (yes, another one...LOL).

My 480V bus goes from sheet to sheet with references.  At the head of the 480V bus is a PDB.  ALL the motor circuit taps physically come off the PDB. However, the report shows the CB's being jumped one to another.  Is there a way to make Autocad electrical to know these wires are going to the PDB?

I know I can change it in the report manually, and if that is the answer that is ok, I just want to be as efficient as possible.

Software is generally really bad at guessing what you're thinking. You have to be more specific in how you draw the schematics.

To get what you want, I believe you need to draw the PDB distributed as a lot of associated terminals, letting each CB be connected to its own part of the PDB.

Yeah I agree!!  This is the last place a wireman needs direction, but I want the reports to come out as correct as possible so there is less room for error.  I like your approach and will play with that.
