The project manager doesn't care where the drawings are. I recommend keeping the drawings in the same folder structure just so it is easier to find everything. If you want to copy to a thumb drive or archive a project you only have to copy one folder. You can have multiple folders inside the project folder though if you prefer. That is no problem.

Hello tjalps

    Currently the Project Manager
offers a "flat" view of the project and the drawings that are part of the
project.  It does not have the capability to show folders or a
hierarchy/organization under the project.  Sorry I didn't have better
news!!  I could make sure I take note of your needs if you could give me
some specifics on how you were looking to organize the project, or exactly what
you were wanting to show in the Project Manager.

If you right-click over a project name and select add drawings you are taken to Windows Explorer and you can navigate the folder structure of your computer and network. If you mean to see folders in the project manager window, the answer is no. I can't imagine why you would not want to see all drawings that make up your project at once, rather than having to open additional folders to see the drawings in the project. I'm curious what you're trying to do.

Hello!

Thanks for reply.

When I have a lot of drawings it is not structured. I'd like to have more organized and structured structure of project, that means tree structure.

Regards!

Hello!

I like the concept of AutoCad sheet set manager. Something like that. When you have 100 or 200 drawings in project manager it can be quite messy.

Hello!

I think that this way of folder structure you can say Folder1-Room1( inside drawings) ... FolderXX-RoomXX( inside drawings)...

As I see you are competent for Autocad. When I exit from Autocad i am asked for each drawing to save it. Is there any possibility that any kind of SAVE ALL command.

Best regards!

Dan,

If you have Express Tools installed, I think there
is a Save All tool.  You can type SAVEALL at the command line or pick from
the menu Express->File Tools->Save All Drawings.

Regards,

Mike
