Project and Sheet properties

Hi Friends,

When you create a sheet in electrical, you have the posibilty to overwrite the sheet properties with the Project properties.

Is their a way to overwrite the Project properties withe the sheet properties.

Yes, there are two ways:

  1. if you are adding new drawing (s) to project tree, click Yes when prompts "Apply Project Defaults to drawing setting"
  2. if the drawing (s) is / are already in the project trees, select drawing (s), right click > Properties then click Apply Project Defaults
 

You can also check the check the setting comparison, by right clicking a drawing > properties>Settings compare. Here you can select either match project or match drawing.

I don't believe there's a way to do what you want ... you'll have to just manually reset all of your project properties so that they match the drawing properties you like.

Good to know! I've never had to do this, so I didn't even know that button was there.
