Hello, I'm fairly new to Autodesk Electrical. I've recently noticed my plans do not have searchable text, since the texts (component names, wire numbers, etc.) get converted into vectors. If I select the option to convert the text to TrueType fonts the text moves around and changes appearance, which messes up the plans.

Is there an option to have my plans use (searchable) TrueType fonts by default so they do not have to get converted and retain their appearance when generating .pdf files? I think this should be the default option, I'm not sure why ACADE does this. Alternatively, is there a way to replace the fonts with identical TrueType fonts when generating the .pdf files?

Thanks.

Have you read the help documentation regarding font mapping? That should give you choices to use SHX in drawings and publish with the True Type font of your choice.
