Does anyone know how to get rid of a phantom wire? The wire shows up in my electrical audit, and drawing audit. I can surf to the wire in the audit and nothing is there. I can purge, rebuild the database ect ect the wire is still there but not visable.

Usually those are zero length wires. But if you've numbered the page you can find them by looking for the wire number. Then use a crossing window to erase everything in the area. The Drawing Audit will usually delete these for you.

Also check for layers that have been turned off.

Thanks for the responce guys

The Drawing audit does not remove these wires and the layers are all on. The electrical audit shows a duplicate wire number, and you can go to the wire and the red box will show around the wire, but no wire. Try a crossing window to erase and Acad cant find any objects.

Is there a way to go to the scratch database and delete the wire number?

I don't think there is a way to remove it using the database. If you want to
send the drawing directly to me I can take a look and probably remove it. My
email is pat.murnen@autodesk.com

When I run an electrical audit I get (3) wires #11002 unconnected, a drawing audit highlights the phantom wires. How do I get rid of the wires??

Well, I am stumped on this one. I am going to send your drawing on to
someone else to look at it. It may take a few days though.

Are there some issues due to these or you just want to clear them out of the
audit?

Maybe I have missed something here, but when I open the drawing there is a
layer called 'ORANGE_18AWG' that is turned OFF and when I turn it ON 3 wires
segments show up. When I erase these wires the 11002 wires no longer show
up in the Electrical Audit 'No Connection' warnings.

When you "HIDE" a wire number using AEHIDEWIRENO, the number is moved to layer WIRENO_HIDE and the layer is frozen.  If you un-freeze the layer all of the hidden wire numbers will be displayed in the location they were when they were placed.  You can now delete them using AEERASEWIRENO or AEERASECOMP and they will be removed.  Be sure to re-freeze the layer when you are finished to hide the numbers you are keeping.
