Library Import/ Catalogue missing

 Hello All!

I experienced an issue with the libraries I wanted to import. So after installing the certain libraries/ catalogues within the actual installing process of ACADE 2017 I am not able to find them in the program. I added Siemens, ABB, Phoenix Contact, Wago and Weidmüller and deleted other default libraries. I have to admit that I am not that familiar with ACAD. Does anyone have an Idea how to solve this?

Many thanks in advance

Hi.. Just wondering, are you running any language pack on top of AutoCAD Electrical?
And... Did you select those manufacturers during installation, or did you add them via "add/remove" later on?

Hi,

I downloaded straight the german version - not sure if that count as "running on top". When I installed the program first time, I added the lib later. Since that didnt work, I deleted the ACADE and reinstalled it adding the manufacturers I work with. I really like the concept of ACADE, and Id love to get it work with them manufacturers.

In "My Documents\AcadE 2017\AeData", you may have a couple of subfolders, "en-US" and "de" ? There is a "Catalogs" folder under each of them. I suspect that when you add manufacturers, it adds to the wrong database.

If you're running the german version, copy the Catalogs-folder from "en-US" to the "de" folder. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!

Then restart AutoCAD Electrical, and see if that fixes the problem.
