I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but lately I've noticed unusual activity regarding some of my forum posts that I think should be mentioned.

Sometimes, when I post a reply, I receive an immediate Kudos from user renatodonato. I'm usually notified that I've received his Kudos within 0.5 - 1.0 seconds after clicking submit...in fact the web page is still loading when it happens. The very first glimpse I have of my post, it already has a Kudos from this guy. This has happened multiple times. I don't see how this is possible at all.

Today I posted a reply to another thread, and it happened again except that this time my answer was also accepted as a solution, again by renatodonato ... but he wasn't the original poster!!!

How is this possible? He has to be botting somehow. No way he's reading one my (generally lengthy) posts and deciding that it's Kudo-worthy before my computer even reloads the webpage.

His profile says he's in Brazil, all of his posts are in Portuguese so I can't read them. But see the attached screenshot, where I received immediate notification of my reply being accepted as an answer by ronatodonato. (This email was in my inbox before the forum page had reloaded. That's fast reading renato!) Note the difference in time. Supposedly he sent the email hours before I even came to work today. And his time zone and mine aren't anywhere near that far apart...he should be two hours ahead of me.

I can't imagine why anyone would do this, but I'm convinced that this person isn't reading posts before Kudo-ing them. And no one should be able to accept a post as an answer on behalf of another user, especially before that user even has a chance to read the post.

Spidey senses are tingling y'all, just thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I figure one of y'all will know who at Autodesk should see this. No one is really identified as a forum moderator here.

It's been discussed int the EE forum, and this is a known issue. They are working on a fix.

Thanks for answering guys. I don't like it that someone can hijack another user and do things under their name. I'd be pretty pissed if that happened to me so I thought I'd speak up.

@jseefdrumr thank you for raising this.  As mentioned by @rhesusminus and @dougmcalexander, Autodesk is aware of this issue and it will be fixed soon.  It's a very odd scenario and has happened to many posters including myself.  We have it on our radar.  Thank you, Katinka

One other thing to note - you can use the Report link in a post to contact the moderators. That way you don't have to know who to email, it just goes directly to the right people.
