Inserting user saved circuits freezes

I downloaded ACADE 2025 onto windows 11. Almost everything in my icon menu works except my user saved circuits. I have tried making it a fixed path and also just the block name to follow my support file search path and the software freezes. I get the blue circle on screen like it is trying to pull up the next dialog box but nothing happens and the circle remains. I was having this problem with another circuit I tried, I then loaded the panel icon menu, went back to try to user circuit again and it worked. It is now not working again and the process isn't working this time.

What could be causing this or does anyone have options I could try?

Thanks.

Hi @Thomasbatson

Hopefully one of the Autodesk employees can comment on this. From your description it almost sounds like a bug where it randomly worked after opening the panel icon menu once.

One of the best lessons I ever got in life was from a senior programmer was to avoid using the latest version of any programming/design software for production environments. Especially the software that releases new version every year.

I am assuming you had this working in recent versions of AutoCAD, where you developed them in the first place. Have you tried AutoCAD Electrical 2024?

If this is indeed a bug, Autodesk should be able to resolve this in the next patch updates.

Are the saved circuits located on a network location? If yes, I would try moving it to a local location and testing it.

Hi @Thomasbatson ,

I tried it in ACADE 2025. But i could not reproduce the issue. May I know the exact workflow which runs into this issue? Have you tried the workflow with demo projects and a smaller circuit?

@arshdeepsingh404 , Thankyou for your question prompts.
