I removed Autocad LT and installed Autocad Electrical - Then got this error

My icons are now blank and it always asks me to choose a start for AutoCAD Electrical. Whenever I try to open a drawing.

Choose more apps, this will allow a checkbox for always use this app, then select the autocad application

This did not work.  

I dont seem to have the AutoCAD Electrical pop up in my list of choices and there is no check box for use this.

It may be how I'm trying to get to that screen.

As I just did a right=click "Open With"  and then I saw the options you mentioned.

Doing this allowed me to choose the AutoCAD and then the check box appeared.  

By doubly-clicking on the Autocad drawing icon did not allow that option. interesting to say the least.

Are your icons now associated to autocad? I'm interested as a colleague has similar issue

Yes after I used the "Right-Click" on the drawing, then choose the platform the Check box popped up and now it works like it should.   All the icons have returned.

Possibly some error in the installation, did you begin from the web download or the desktop app?
