Hi everyone,

Here's what I've tried:

Original Drawing: The drawing is in inches.

Template: The template is unitless, so I tried adjusting the units to millimeters.

Actions Taken:

I set the units of the original drawing to millimeters and scaled the drawing by a factor of 25.4 (to convert inches to millimeters).

The template's units have been set to millimeters (via the UNITS command).

I’ve also tried inserting the original drawing into the template using no scaling and 1:1 scaling, but some objects still appear larger than others, particularly busbar connections.

Issue:

The whole drawing isn’t being scaled properly. Only a few specific items (e.g., busbar connections) are appearing larger than intended.

I have confirmed that both drawings are set to the correct unit systems, but the scaling issue persists for some elements.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or know how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

copy/paste is not the best method to do what you want: your INSBASE variable setting is being ignored among other things.

Use ADCENTER command.

Hello @Ajai_Babu

One problem could be that old (Large Size) busbar blocks are already loaded into the drawing definition. Try deleting all large symbols, and the run the PURGE command to remove all unused block definitions.
Then try copy pasting again.
