How to make Symbols not cut off half the wire on AutoCAD Electrical?

When I put a switch on a wire on AutoCAD Electrical, it cuts off half of the wire for some reason. How can I fix this? See below.

It seems like your symbol only has one connection point, on the left side.

Open it in symbol builder and check one more time.
